#SharkSwim: January 2024 Recap
We’re officially through the first month of 2024, and WOOH – we need a second to chill. The start of the year is always a busy time in the advertising world: new budgets, new products and services to market, and new clients who have joined the AdShark team! We’re grateful for it all.
To maintain our tradition of recapping the past month at AdShark, we sat down and collected a series of highlights to share with you. Keep reading to hear all about the thrills & gills from January.
Birthdays & Anniversaries!
We have no news for you on this section. But if I deleted this section entirely, I may never remember to write about birthdays and anniversaries again. So… I’ll keep this on here so we can remember to highlight our February bday & anni friends!

Sharks on Ice!
On January 18th, our team got together and went to the Fargo Force game! Though the hometown team ended up losing in a shoot-out, we still hit our goal: having a blast with our team. Thanks to the Fargo Force & Scheels Arena staff for helping us have such a fun night!
The First Happy Hour of 2024!
A new year means a new happy hour calendar for the Shark Squad. Justin Monroe was elected as our Happy Hour King for month 1, and he selected Harold’s On Main as the location of our first happy hour. Great to get out of the office and enjoy some adult bevvys with our team!
We Convinced Some Spartans to Become Future Sharks
Okay, so I’m not sure if we actually accomplished that. But we DID go to Fargo North High School and speak to some Spartan students about what we do as digital marketers. We tried to only highlight the good stuff, and not scare them off with the fact that if they become a digital marketer, they’ll run up their phone bill with calls from Google and Facebook reps. Thank you, North High, for having us!
Creative Feature: Email Campaigns!
Our nearest and dearest fans of the brand likely recall seeing that we hired an Email & SMS Wizard in November. Karina has officially taken over the email efforts for two of our clients, Heat Transfer Warehouse and Office Sign Company, and we are GROOVING.

Over the last three months, we’ve been asking our employees what songs they’re listening to and sharing it as a series on our social media pages. I took those recommendations and turned it into a larger playlist for you all to enjoy 🙂
