#SharkSwim: June 2024 Recap
June went by in a flash here at AdShark, and there was no shortage of fun and festivities.
With the 4th of July just ending, we have plenty of celebrations left ahead for July. But let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. Welcome back to the SharkSwim blog, where we’ll be sharing some of our favorite highlights from June!

Birthdays & Anniversaries!
Our CEO Rick celebrated his birthday on June 5th. He wasn’t in the office for his birthday, but we could still feel that boss energy radiating through!
Now onto Sharkiversaries!
Robb celebrated his 2nd anniversary on June 13th, and Aubrey waved goodbye to 6 years and hello to year #7 on June 25th.
Thank you both for all you bring to AdShark! We couldn’t do it without you.
All Staff Retreat

This might be a highlight of the year for AdShark! This all-day retreat was filled with fun, collaborative (and competitive) games, strategized group activities, and food and prizes!
We even had our very own Alex Trebek come out and host our Jeopardy game: Darren from the Chamber! He was the best Jeopardy host and we loved having him there. Thanks again, Darren!
We ended the day at Cowboy Jacks with some drinks and popcorn. It’s always special to have a day out of the office with everyone in the office. Some great team bonding and a lot of laughs:)
Casino Night

Wasted away again in Margaritaville… well, sort of!
We put on a Margaritaville-themed casino night in the office! We had the typical casino activities: blackjack, roulette, Texas holdem, and darts! We even had a make shift bar, it was quite the party.
It came to fruition the amount of savers and spenders we have in the office during the casino games. Jack was running blackjack (duh), and was encouraging some big spending to everyone that played by asking “Do you want to have fun?” Who can say no to that?!
We had good food, great margaritas, and spent some (fake) moolah on some awesome prizes. I guess you could say it was a hit.
Creatorship Crew – CampusFM

We had a special visit from the Creatorship crew from CampusFM! We talked about all things social media and gave them some fun AdShark history. They even got an official tour of the AdShark building – CampusFM, welcome to our crib😎

re:Commerce

We had the best time putting on this year’s re:Commerce event! Our turnout was pretty impressive – over 70+ attendees, and we had some special guest speakers! Amanda Shilling from MINT Brand Marketing, Andrew Young from Team Abovo, and our very own Whitney Jensen!
We hosted a fun after-party at Swing Barrel where we continued our fun discussions. Thanks to everyone who participated and showed up, we can’t wait for next year!
Creative Feature: Vantage New Website
We had the honor to create a new website for Vantage Paint Protection Fargo! This was such a fun project to work on, Loock was the design wizard and Mike developed it! They are the dream team when it comes to creating new websites🙌
Well, I think we can all agree that was a month for the books at AdShark. Thanks for reading along, and be on the lookout for AdShark week coming soon in July👀
